ಎಲೀಯನು ಅಹಾಬನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಬಹು ಮಳೆಯ ಶಬ್ದವು ಆಯಿತು ಅಂದನು.
Eleeyanu ahaabanige--neenu hogi tindu kudi; yaakandare bahu maleya shabdavu aayitu andanu.

- 43ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕ ನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕಡೆ ನೋಡು ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು ಹೋಗಿ ನೋಡಿ--ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು--ಏಳು ಸಾರಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ನೋಡು ಅಂದನು.
