2. 5ಅಹಾ ಬನು ಓಬದ್ಯನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನೀರು ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಳ್ಳಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಹೋಗು. ನಾವು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೇಸರ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜೀವ ದಿಂದ ಇರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಹುಲ್ಲು ದೊರಕಬಹುದು ಅಂದನು.
3. 6ಅವರು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಾದು ಹೋಗಲು ಅದನ್ನು ವಿಭಾಗ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಹಾಬನು ಒಂದು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಓಬದ್ಯನು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ವಾಗಿ ಹೋದರು.
4. 7ಓಬದ್ಯನು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಎಲೀಯನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿದನು. ಓಬದ್ಯನು ಇವನನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಮೊರೆ ಕೆಳಗಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದು--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಎಲೀಯನಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು.
5. 8ಇವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನೇ, ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ--ಇಗೋ, ಎಲೀಯನು ಇಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.
