ಅಹಾ ಬನು ಓಬದ್ಯನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನೀರು ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಳ್ಳಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಹೋಗು. ನಾವು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೇಸರ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜೀವ ದಿಂದ ಇರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಹುಲ್ಲು ದೊರಕಬಹುದು ಅಂದನು.
Ahaa banu obadyanige--neenu deshadalliruva ellaa neeru buggegala baligoo ellaa hallagala baligoo hogu. Naavu samasta pashugalannu kalakollada haage kuduregalannoo hesara kattegalannoo jeeva dinda irisuvadakke namage ondu vele hullu dorakabahudu andanu.

- 6ಅವರು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಾದು ಹೋಗಲು ಅದನ್ನು ವಿಭಾಗ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಹಾಬನು ಒಂದು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಓಬದ್ಯನು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ವಾಗಿ ಹೋದರು.
- 7ಓಬದ್ಯನು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಎಲೀಯನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿದನು. ಓಬದ್ಯನು ಇವನನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಮೊರೆ ಕೆಳಗಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದು--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಎಲೀಯನಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು.
