ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮಂದಿರ ವನ್ನೂ ಅರಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕಟ್ಟಲು ಆಶೆ ಯಿಂದ ಇಚ್ಚೈಸಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ,
Solomonanu kartana mandira vannoo aramaneyannoo kattalu aashe yinda ichchaisiddannellaa kattisi teerisida mele enaayitandare,

- 2ಕರ್ತನು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾದ ಹಾಗೆ ಎರಡನೇ ಸಾರಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾದನು.
- 3ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಯನ್ನೂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿ ಯುಗ ಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಈ ಮಂದಿರವನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವೂ ನಿತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ರುವವು.
