ಸೌಲನು ಗಿಬೆಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೇ ಮೇರೆಯಾದ ಮಿಗ್ರೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದಾಳಿಂಬರ ಗಿಡದ ಕೆಳಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸುಮಾರು ಆರು ನೂರು ಜನರಿದ್ದರು.
Saulanu gibeya kattakade mereyaada migroninalliruva daalimbara gidada kelagiddanu. Avana sangada sumaaru aaru nooru janariddaru.

- 3ಆಗ ಏಲಿಯ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಫೀನೆ ಹಾಸನ ಮಗನಾದ ಈಕಾಬೋದನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಹೀಟೂಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಯನು ಶೀಲೋವಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಫೋದನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನ ಯಾಜಕ ನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಆದರೆ ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ಹೋದದ್ದನ್ನು ಜನರು ಅರಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದರು.
- 4ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿ ಯರ ಠಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹುಡುಕಿದ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಡೆ ಆ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಚೇಚ್‌ ಸೆನೆ ಎಂಬ ಚೂಪಾದ ಎರಡು ಬಂಡೆ ಗಳಿದ್ದವು.
