4. 51ದಾವೀದನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕತ್ತಿಯು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ದಾವೀದನು ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ಅವನ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೇ ಒರೆಯಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತು ಅವನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದನು. ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.
