ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲ್ಯರ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ನಾಳೆನಾಡಿದ್ದರೊ ಳಗೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲು ಇಗೋ, ದಾವೀದನ ಮೇಲೆ ದಯವಾದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೋನಾತಾನನಿಗೆ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ.

Yonaataananu daaveedanige--israaye lyara devaraada kartane, naanu naalenaadiddaro lage nanna tandeyannu vichaarisalu igo, daaveedana mele dayavaadare ninage tilisuva haage heli kaluhisade iddare kartanu yonaataananige adakkinta adhikavaagi maadali.

King James Version (KJV): And Jonathan said unto David, O LORD God of Israel, when I have sounded my father about to morrow any time, [or] the third [day], and, behold, [if there be] good toward David, and I then send not unto thee, and shew it thee;

11ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಹೊಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಬಾ ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರು ಹೊಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದರು.
12ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲ್ಯರ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ನಾಳೆನಾಡಿದ್ದರೊ ಳಗೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲು ಇಗೋ, ದಾವೀದನ ಮೇಲೆ ದಯವಾದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೋನಾತಾನನಿಗೆ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ.
13ಆದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೇಡುಮಾಡಲು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ನೀನು ಸಮಾಧಾನ ದಿಂದ ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು.
14ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಲಿ. ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬದುಕು ತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ಸಾಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ಕರ್ತನ ದಯೆಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತೋರಿಸಬೇಕಾದದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ
