1. 23ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ದಾವೀದನು--ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ನಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಈ ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಕೇಳುವರು?
2. 24ಆದರೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದವನ ಪಾಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾದಿರುವವನ ಪಾಲೂ ಇರಲಿ; ಅವರು ಸಮವಾಗಿ ಪಾಲು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
3. 25ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ಆ ದಿವಸ ಮೊದಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಯಮವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
4. 26ಆದರೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಚಿಕ್ಲಗಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಮಾಡಿದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಾದ ಯೆಹೂ ದದ ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ ಕೆಲವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬಹು ಮಾನವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
5. 27ಯಾರಂದರೆ--ಬೇತೇಲಿ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಿಗೂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ರಾಮೋತಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಿಗೂ ಯತ್ತೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಿಗೂ
