ಅವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಜನರಿದ್ದರು. ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಅಡಿಗೆಯವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಇಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತಂದಿಡು ಅಂದನು.
Avaru hechchu kadime moovattu janariddaru. Samuvelanu adigeyavanige--naanu ninna kaiyalli kottu, idabekendu helida paalannu tandidu andanu.

- 22ಆಗ ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಸೌಲನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನು ಕರ ತಂದು ಅತಿಥಿಗಳ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
- 23ಅವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಜನರಿದ್ದರು. ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಅಡಿಗೆಯವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಇಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತಂದಿಡು ಅಂದನು.
- 24ಆಗ ಅಡಿಗೆಯವನು ಒಂದು ಮುಂದೊಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ತಂದು ಅದನ್ನು ಸೌಲನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಆಗ ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಸೌಲನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಇದು ನಿನ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿದ್ದು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತಿನ್ನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಜನರನ್ನು ಕರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಈ ವರೆಗೂ ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಇಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸೌಲನು ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುವೇಲನ ಸಂಗಡ ಊಟಮಾಡಿದನು.
- 25ಅವರು ಗುಡ್ಡದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಸಮು ವೇಲನು ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೌಲನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.
