ಆಗ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವ ತಾಮ್ರಪೀಠದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಹಸ್ರ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.

- 5ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೂರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಊರೀ ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆಚಲೇಲನು ಮಾಡಿದ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನೂ ಸಭೆಯೂ ಅದರ ಮುಂದೆ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
- 6ಆಗ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವ ತಾಮ್ರಪೀಠದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಹಸ್ರ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
- 7ಅದೇ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು--ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೋ ಅಂದನು.
- 8ಆಗ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ದೇವ ರಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಬಹು ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಆಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದಿ.
