Then king Rehoboam sent Hadoram that [was] over the tribute; and the children of Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. But king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to [his] chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.

3. 18ಆಗ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಕಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಗೊತ್ತುಗಾರನಾದ ಹದೋರಾಮನನ್ನು ಕಳು ಹಿಸಲು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು, ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಲು ಆತುರಪಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ರಥವನ್ನೇರಿದನು.ಹೀಗೆ ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದರು.
