ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದನು. ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಶಾಂತ ವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Idallade avanu unnata sthalagalannoo vigrahagalannoo yehoodada samasta pattanagalinda tegeduhaakidanu. Raajyavu avana munde shaanta vaagittu.

- 4ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಲೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿ ಸಿದನು.
- 5ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದನು. ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಶಾಂತ ವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
- 6ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಟೆ ಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ದೇಶವು ಶಾಂತವಾ ಗಿತ್ತು. ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ವರುಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
- 7ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದದವರಿಗೆ--ದೇಶವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರು ವಾಗ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಗುಳಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡೋಣ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದೆವು; ನಾವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
