3. 8ಆಸನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಓದೇದನ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಬಲಗೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮಿನ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನು ಹಿಡಿದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ಅಸಹ್ಯ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ಕರ್ತನ ದ್ವಾರಾಂಗಳದ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಕರ್ತನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ನೂತನ ಪಡಿಸಿದನು.
4. 9ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾ ವಿಾನನ ಸಮಸ್ತರನ್ನೂ ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬಂದ ಅನ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಇವರು ಕಂಡು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅನೇಕರು ಅವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
5. 10ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಆಸನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಹದಿನೈದನೇ ವರುಷದ ಮೂರನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.
