ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವನು ಅಹಾಬನ ಮನೆಯವರ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಂದೆ ಸತ್ತ ತರುವಾಯ ಇವರು ಅವರ ನಾಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
Aadakaarana avanu ahaabana maneyavara haage kartana sammukhadalli kettaddannu maadidanu. Avana tande satta taruvaaya ivaru avara naashanakke avana salahegaararaagiddaru.

- 4ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವನು ಅಹಾಬನ ಮನೆಯವರ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಂದೆ ಸತ್ತ ತರುವಾಯ ಇವರು ಅವರ ನಾಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
- 5ಅವನು ಇವರ ಯೋಚನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಡೆದು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಾಮೋತಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಾಮಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಜಾಯೇಲನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಲು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಅಹಾಬನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಯೆಹೋರಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋದನು.
- 6ಆದರೆ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ಯೆಹೋರಾಮನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದರು. ಅವನು ಅರಾಮಿನ ಹಜಾಯೇಲನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ರಿಂದ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ತಿರಿಗಿದನು. ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋರಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹಜ್ಯನು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಹಾ ಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋರಾಮನನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಬಂದನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇವನು ರೋಗಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
