ಅವನು ಓಬೇದೆದೋಮನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾ ರವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಮನೆಯ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಹೋದರು.
Avanu obededomana baliyalli kartana aalayadalli sikkida belli bangaa ravannu ellaa saamaanugalannu arasana maneya bokkasagalannu kelavarannu serehididu tegedu kondu samaaryakke tirugihodaru.

- 25ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೋವಾಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವಾಹಾಜನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವಾಷನು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ಹದಿನೈದು ವರುಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು.
- 26ಆದರೆ ಅಮಚ್ಯನ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು, ಮೊದಲನೆಯವು ಗಳೂ ಕಡೆಯವುಗಳೂ ಇಗೋ, ಅವು ಯೆಹೂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
