- 25ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೋವಾಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವಾಹಾಜನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವಾಷನು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ಹದಿನೈದು ವರುಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು.
- 26ಆದರೆ ಅಮಚ್ಯನ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು, ಮೊದಲನೆಯವು ಗಳೂ ಕಡೆಯವುಗಳೂ ಇಗೋ, ಅವು ಯೆಹೂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
- 27ಆದರೆ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಹೋದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವನು ಲಾಕೀಷಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಲಾಕೀಷಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು.ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು.
- 28ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು.
