2. 4ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮೇಡುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಸುರು ಗಿಡಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೂ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಧೂಪವನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
3. 5ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅರಾಮಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು. ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆ ಯಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ದಮಸ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ದರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಇವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಂಹಾರ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
4. 6ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನು ಒಂದೇ ದಿವಸದೊಳಗೆ ಯೆಹೂ ದದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಲಕ್ಷದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು; ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿ ಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
5. 7ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಫ್ರಯಾಮ್ಯನಾಗಿರುವ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯಾದ ಜಿಕ್ರಿಯು ಅರಸನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಮಾಸೇಯನನ್ನೂ ಅರಮನೆಯ ನಾಯಕನಾದ ಅಜ್ರೀಕಾಮನನ್ನೂ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಎರಡನೆಯವನಾದ ಎಲ್ಕಾನನನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು.
