3. 17ಅವರು ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೇ ದಿವಸ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ಆ ತಿಂಗಳ ಎಂಟನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ದ್ವಾರಾಂಗಳದ ವರೆಗೂ ಬಂದರು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಎಂಟು ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹದಿನಾರನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದರು.
4. 18ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಆಲಯವನ್ನೂ ದಹನಬಲಿಯ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಮೇಜನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಶುಚಿಮಾಡಿದೆವು.
