ನನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದೇವ ರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವುಳ್ಳದ್ದು ಯಾವದು? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಿಡಿಸ ಬಹುದು?

- 14ನನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದೇವ ರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವುಳ್ಳದ್ದು ಯಾವದು? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಿಡಿಸ ಬಹುದು?
- 15ಆದದರಿಂದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸಿ ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸದಿರಲಿ; ಅವನ ಮಾತು ನಂಬಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗ, ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ದೇವರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರು ಒಂದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಎಷ್ಟರವನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.
- 16ಹೀಗೆ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ಆತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಹೀಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋ ಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
