2. 13ಆಗ ಆತನು ಕನಿಕರಪಟ್ಟು ಅವನ ಬಿನ್ನಹವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ದನು. ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನೇ ದೇವರೆಂದು ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡನು.
3. 14ಇದಾದ ತರುವಾಯ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೊರಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೀಹೋನಿನ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಕಡೆಯ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಾನುಬಾಗಲ ದ್ವಾರದ ವರೆಗೆ ಓಫೆಲ್‌ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಎತ್ತರ ಮಾಡಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕೋಟೆ ಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟನು.
4. 15ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಅನ್ಯ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಾನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಿಸಾಡಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
5. 16ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಲು ಯೆಹೂದದವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ದನು.
