1. 1

   ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾವು ಕರುಣೆಯಿಂದ ಈ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವರಾಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಧೈರ್ಯಗೆಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

   Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

2. 2

   ಆದರೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣ ವಾಗುವ ಗುಪ್ತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಂತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯದೆಯೂ ವಂಚನೆಯಿಂದ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸದೆಯೂ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪರಿಷ್ಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನಾವು ಯೋಗ್ಯರೆಂದು ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಒಪ್ಪಬೇಕಾದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನ

   But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

   ನಮ್ಮ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯು ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರುವದಾದರೆ ಅದು ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋದವರಿಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

   But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

   ದೇವರ ಪ್ರತಿರೂಪವಾಗಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯು ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಬಾರದೆಂದು ಈ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ದೇವರು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವರ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಮಂಕುಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

   In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

   ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕರೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನೇ ಸಾರುತ್ತೇವೆ.

   For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

   ಕತ್ತಲೆ ಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬೆಳಕು ಹೊಳೆಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ದೇವರು ತಾನೇ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ತೋರುವ ದೇವಪ್ರಭಾವ ಜ್ಞಾನವೆಂಬ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಳೆದನು.

   For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

7. 7

   ಬಲಾಧಿಕ್ಯವು ನಮ್ಮದಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ದೇವರದಾಗಿ ರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಈ ನಿಕ್ಷೇಪವು ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಘಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗುಂಟು.

   But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

8. 8

   ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಕಳವಳ ವಿದ್ದರೂ ನಾವು ಸಂಕಟಪಡುವವರಲ್ಲ; ನಾವು ದಿಕ್ಕು ಕಾಣದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೇವಲ ದೆಸೆಗೆಟ್ಟವರಲ್ಲ.

   [We are] troubled on every side, yet not distressed; [we are] perplexed, but not in despair;

9. 9

   ಹಿಂಸೆ ಪಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೈಬಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರಲ್ಲ; ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನಾಶವಾದವರಲ್ಲ.

   Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10. 10

    ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಜೀವವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟೆಂದು ತೋರಿ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ.

    Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

11. 11

    ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಜೀವವು ಸಹ ನಮ್ಮ ಮರ್ತ್ಯ ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟೆಂದು ತೋರಿ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬದುಕಿರುವ ನಾವು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ.

    For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

12. 12

    ಹೀಗೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಣವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವವೂ ಪ್ರವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

    So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

13. 13

    ಹೀಗಿದ್ದರೂ--ನಾನು ನಂಬಿದೆನು, ಆದದರಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದೆನು ಎಂದು ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನೇ ಹೊಂದಿ ನಾವು ಸಹ ನಂಬುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.

    We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

14. 14

    ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದಾತನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಹ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

    Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present [us] with you.

15. 15

    ಅವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ; ಅವು ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ದೊರಕುವ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಬಹುಜನ ರೊಳಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವದರಿಂದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡುವದು.

    For all things [are] for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

16. 16

    ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ನಾವು ಧೈರ್ಯಗೆಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೊರಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನಾಶವಾಗುತಾ ಇದ್ದರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಒಳಮನುಷ್ಯನು ದಿನೇದಿನೇ ಹೊಸಬ ನಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವನು.

    For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day.

17. 17

    ಹೇಗಂದರೆ ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರ ವಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಹಗುರವಾದ ಸಂಕಟವು ಅತ್ಯಂತಾಧಿಕ ವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿರುವ ಗೌರವವುಳ್ಳ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.ನಾವು ಕಾಣು ವಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸದೆ ಕಾಣದಿರುವಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕಾಣುವಂಥ ವುಗಳು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇರುವವು; ಕಾಣದಿರುವಂಥ ವುಗಳು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಇರುವವು.

    For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory;

18. 18

    ನಾವು ಕಾಣು ವಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸದೆ ಕಾಣದಿರುವಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕಾಣುವಂಥ ವುಗಳು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇರುವವು; ಕಾಣದಿರುವಂಥ ವುಗಳು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಇರುವವು.

    While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.
