ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯಾಜಕರು ಜನರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಮನೆಯ ಒಡುಕುಗ ಳನ್ನು ದುರಸ್ತು ಮಾಡದೆ ಇರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿ ದರು.
Haageye yaajakaru janara kaiyinda hanavannu tegedukollade iruvadakkoo maneya odukuga lannu durastu maadade iruvadakkoo sammatisi daru.

- 7ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವಾಷನು ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದಾ ವನನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಮನೆಯ ಒಡಕುಗಳನ್ನು ದುರಸ್ತುಮಾಡದೆ ಇರುವ ದೇನು? ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಚಯದವ ರಿಂದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಮನೆಯ ಒಡಕು ಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅದನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
- 8ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯಾಜಕರು ಜನರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಮನೆಯ ಒಡುಕುಗ ಳನ್ನು ದುರಸ್ತು ಮಾಡದೆ ಇರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿ ದರು.
- 9ಆದರೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದಾವನು ಒಂದು ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅದರ ಮುಚ್ಚಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತೂತನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶದ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಆಗ ಬಾಗಲು ಕಾಯುವ ಯಾಜಕರು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಗೆ ತರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಣವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
- 10ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಹಣ ಉಂಟೆಂದು ಅವರು ನೋಡಿ ಅರಸನ ಲೇಖಕನೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕನೂ ಂದು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿ ಚೀಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
