1. 8ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯಾಜಕರು ಜನರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಮನೆಯ ಒಡುಕುಗ ಳನ್ನು ದುರಸ್ತು ಮಾಡದೆ ಇರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿ ದರು.
2. 9ಆದರೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದಾವನು ಒಂದು ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅದರ ಮುಚ್ಚಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತೂತನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶದ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಆಗ ಬಾಗಲು ಕಾಯುವ ಯಾಜಕರು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಗೆ ತರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಣವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
3. 10ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಹಣ ಉಂಟೆಂದು ಅವರು ನೋಡಿ ಅರಸನ ಲೇಖಕನೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕನೂ ಂದು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿ ಚೀಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
4. 11ಅವರು ಎಣಿಸಿದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಇವರು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಬಡಗಿಯವರಿಗೂ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಗಾರರಿಗೂ ಉಪ್ಪಾರರಿಗೂ ಕಲ್ಲುಕುಟಿಗರಿಗೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
5. 12ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಒಡಕುಗಳನ್ನು ದುರಸ್ತು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮರವನ್ನೂ ಕೆತ್ತಿದಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಮನೆ ದುರಸ್ತು ಮಾಡಲು ಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವೆಚ್ಚಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
