ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳಾದ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು; ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
