3. 33ಅವನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ವರುಷ ದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನಾರು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಚಾದೋಕನ ಮಗಳಾ ಗಿದ್ದ ಯೆರೂಷಳು.
4. 34ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಮಾಡಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.
5. 35ಇವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಜನರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಧೂಪವನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
