2. 17ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಆಧಾರದ ಅಂಚುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ದು ಗಂಗಾಳವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಸಮುದ್ರ ಎಂಬ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಅದರ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಎತ್ತುಗಳ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಇಳಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟನು.
3. 18ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಇದ್ದ ಒಪ್ಪಾರನ್ನೂ ಹೊರಗಿದ್ದ ಅರಸನ ಪ್ರವೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದನು.
4. 19ಆದರೆ ಆಹಾಜನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸುಗಳ ವೃತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?ಆಹಾಜನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ದಾವೀ ದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸ್ಮಶಾನ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
5. 20ಆಹಾಜನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ದಾವೀ ದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸ್ಮಶಾನ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
