2. 26ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವರು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿದ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಆ ದೇಶದ ದೇವರ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಆ ದೇಶದ ದೇವರ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಇಗೋ, ಅವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುತ್ತವೆ ಅಂದರು.
3. 27ಆಗ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನು--ನೀವು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಯಾಜಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿರಿ; ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆ ದೇಶದ ದೇವರ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
4. 28ಆಗ ಅವರು ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ದಿಂದ ತಂದ ಯಾಜಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಬಂದು ಬೇತೇಲಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡತಕ್ಕ ವಿಧವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದನು.
5. 29ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಜನಾಂಗದವರೂ ತಾವು ನಿವಾಸಿಸಿದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮಗೆ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿದರು.
