ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವರು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿದ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಆ ದೇಶದ ದೇವರ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಆ ದೇಶದ ದೇವರ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಇಗೋ, ಅವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುತ್ತವೆ ಅಂದರು.
