ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ಉಜ್ಜನ ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಷೀ ಯನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.

24ದೇಶದ ಜನರು ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಮೋನನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಷೀಯನನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
25ಆಮೋನನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅವನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸುಗಳ ವೃತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ಉಜ್ಜನ ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಷೀ ಯನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
