2. 6ಆ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳು ತುಂಬಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ--ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ ಅಂದಳು. ಅವನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ಇನ್ನು ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
3. 7ಆಗ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯುಕ್ಕುವದು ನಿಂತು ಹೋಯಿತು. ಆಗ ಅವಳು ಬಂದು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದಳು. ಅವನು--ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾರಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಾಲವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸಿ ಮಿಕ್ಕದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಜೀವನ ಮಾಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
4. 8ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಎಲೀಷನು ಶೂನೇ ಮಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಘನವುಳ್ಳ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಇದ್ದಳು. ಅವಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ತಿನ್ನಲು ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಿದಳು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ಆ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವಾಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ತಿನ್ನಲು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿ ದ್ದನು.
5. 9ಆದದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಗಂಡನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವ ಇವನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾದ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದಾ ನೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.
