1. 17ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಕನಾದ ಆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಅರಸನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ಕಾವಲಿಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದನು. ಅರಸನು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ದೇವರ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಜನರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟ ಣದ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ತುಳಿದು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತುಹೋದನು.
2. 18ಹಾಗೆಯೇ--ಎರಡು ಸೇರು ಜವೆ ಗೋದಿಯು ಒಂದು ಶೇಕೆಲಿಗೂ ಒಂದು ಸೇರು ನಯವಾದ ಹಿಟ್ಟು ಒಂದು ಶೇಕೆಲಿಗೂ ನಾಳೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರಲ್ಪಡುವ ವೆಂದು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿತು.
3. 19ಆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನು ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿಟಕಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಹಾಗಾ ಗುವದೋ ಅಂದನು; ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದ ನೋಡುವಿ; ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನು ವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು.ಆ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿತು; ಏನಂದರೆ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಅವನನ್ನು ತುಳಿದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
