ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಕನಾದ ಆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಅರಸನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ಕಾವಲಿಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದನು. ಅರಸನು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ದೇವರ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಜನರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟ ಣದ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ತುಳಿದು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತುಹೋದನು.

- 17ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಕನಾದ ಆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಅರಸನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ಕಾವಲಿಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದನು. ಅರಸನು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ದೇವರ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಜನರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟ ಣದ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ತುಳಿದು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತುಹೋದನು.
- 18ಹಾಗೆಯೇ--ಎರಡು ಸೇರು ಜವೆ ಗೋದಿಯು ಒಂದು ಶೇಕೆಲಿಗೂ ಒಂದು ಸೇರು ನಯವಾದ ಹಿಟ್ಟು ಒಂದು ಶೇಕೆಲಿಗೂ ನಾಳೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರಲ್ಪಡುವ ವೆಂದು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿತು.
- 19ಆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನು ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿಟಕಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಹಾಗಾ ಗುವದೋ ಅಂದನು; ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದ ನೋಡುವಿ; ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನು ವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು.ಆ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿತು; ಏನಂದರೆ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಅವನನ್ನು ತುಳಿದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
