ಆಗ ನಾವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಂಜು ಬೀಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವೆವು. ಅವನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡವಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಉಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

- 11ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಏನಂದರೆ, ದಾನಿ ನಿಂದ ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದ ವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮರಳಿನಷ್ಟು ಅಸಂಖ್ಯವಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ತರುವಾಯ ನೀನೇ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು.
- 12ಆಗ ನಾವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಂಜು ಬೀಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವೆವು. ಅವನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡವಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಉಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
- 13ಅವನು ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಕ್ಕರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಗ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದು ಹಾಕಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ನಾವು ಒಂದು ಹರಳಾದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ನದಿಗೆ ಎಳೆದು ಹಾಕುವೆವು ಅಂದನು.
- 14ಆಗ ಅಬ್ಷಾ ಲೋಮನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರೂಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಿಂತ ಅರ್ಕೀಯನಾದ ಹೂಷೈಯ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದು ಅಂದರು. ತಾನು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದನು.
