ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಏನಂದರೆ, ದಾನಿ ನಿಂದ ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದ ವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮರಳಿನಷ್ಟು ಅಸಂಖ್ಯವಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ತರುವಾಯ ನೀನೇ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು.

King James Version (KJV): Therefore I counsel that all Israel be generally gathered unto thee, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, as the sand that [is] by the sea for multitude; and that thou go to battle in thine own person.

9ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಈಗ ಒಂದು ಗವಿಯಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವನು. ಮೊದಲೇ ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಸತ್ತರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳು ವವರು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಹಾರವಾಯಿತೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವರು.
10ಆಗ ಸಿಂಹದ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯ ಹೃದಯವೂ ಸಹ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಕರಗುವದು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಶೂರನೆಂದೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವವರು ಪರಾ ಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳೆಂದೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರು ಬಲ್ಲರು.
11ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಏನಂದರೆ, ದಾನಿ ನಿಂದ ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದ ವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮರಳಿನಷ್ಟು ಅಸಂಖ್ಯವಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ತರುವಾಯ ನೀನೇ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು.
12ಆಗ ನಾವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಂಜು ಬೀಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವೆವು. ಅವನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡವಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಉಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
13ಅವನು ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಕ್ಕರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಗ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದು ಹಾಕಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ನಾವು ಒಂದು ಹರಳಾದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ನದಿಗೆ ಎಳೆದು ಹಾಕುವೆವು ಅಂದನು.
