ಅವನು ಬಂದು ಸವಿಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಕಾವ ಲುಗಾರನು ಬೇರೊಬ್ಬನು ಓಡಿ ಬರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಬಾಗಲು ಕಾಯುವವನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು--ಇಗೋ, ಮತ್ತೊ ಬ್ಬನು ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಓಡಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

Avanu bandu saviాpisidanu. Kaava lugaaranu berobbanu odi baruvadannu kandu baagalu kaayuvavanannu karedu--igo, matto bbanu ontiyaagi odi baruttiddaane andanu.

24ಆದರೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಎರಡು ಬಾಗಲುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದನು. ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನು ಗೋಪುರದ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಏರಿ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ ಇಗೋ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಓಡಿ ಬರು ತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
25ಆಗ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನು ಕೂಗಿ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು. ಅರಸನು--ಅವನು ಒಬ್ಬನಾಗಿ ಬಂದರೆ ಅವನ ಬಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವರ್ತಮಾನ ಇರುವದು ಅಂದನು.
26ಅವನು ಬಂದು ಸವಿಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಕಾವ ಲುಗಾರನು ಬೇರೊಬ್ಬನು ಓಡಿ ಬರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಬಾಗಲು ಕಾಯುವವನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು--ಇಗೋ, ಮತ್ತೊ ಬ್ಬನು ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಓಡಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
27ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಸನು--ಅವನು ಸಹ ವರ್ತಮಾನ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನುಮೊದಲನೆಯವನ ಓಟವು ಚಾದೋಕನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಮಾಚನ ಓಟದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುವದೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಸನು--ಅವನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು, ಒಳ್ಳೇ ವರ್ತಮಾನವನ್ನು ತರುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
28ಆಗ ಅಹೀಮಾಚನು ಕೂಗಿ ಅರಸನಿಗೆಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಕ್ಷೇಮ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನೆತ್ತಿದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
