ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರಿದ್ದರು. ಸೌಲನ ಮನೆಯ ಸೇವಕ ನಾದ ಚೀಬನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ತನ್ನ ಹದಿನೈದು ಮಂದಿ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ತನ್ನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಸೇವಕರೂ ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಬಂದರು.

- 19ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಅಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಎಣಿಸದೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬರುವ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ದಾಸನು ಮೂರ್ಖ ತನದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆನಸದೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡದೆ ಇರಲಿ.
