ಹೀಗೆ ಯೋವಾಬನು ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿ ದನು. ಆಗ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿಂತರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಲಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

- 26ಆಗ ಅಬ್ನೇರನು ಯೋವಾಬನಿಗೆ--ಕತ್ತಿಯು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವದೋ? ಅಂತ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ಕಹಿಯಾಗಿರುವದೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗು ವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು ವದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಹೇಳದೆ ಇರುವಿ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 27ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋವಾಬನು--ದೇವರ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ಉದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯ ವಾಗಿ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋ ದರನ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು ಅಂದನು.
- 28ಹೀಗೆ ಯೋವಾಬನು ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿ ದನು. ಆಗ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿಂತರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಲಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
- 29ಅಬ್ನೇ ರನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರೂ ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಬಿಥ್ರೋನಿನಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾದು ಮಹನಯಿಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
- 30ಯೋವಾಬನು ಅಬ್ನೇರನ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ದಾವೀದನ ಸೇವಕ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ಜನರೂ ಅಸಾಹೇಲನೂ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
