3. 15ಅವರು ಬಂದು ಅವನು ಇದ್ದ ಆಬೇಲ್ಬೇತ್ಮಾಕನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆದುರಾಗಿ ಕಂದಕದ ಗುಡ್ಡೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ದಿಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದರು. ಯೋವಾಬನ ಸಂಗಡಲಿರುವ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡವುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಡೆ ದರು.
4. 16ಆಗ ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿಂದ--ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ನಾನು ಯೋವಾಬನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಸವಿಾಪಿ ಸಲು ಬರಹೇಳಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡಳು.
5. 17ಅವನು ಸವಿಾಪ ಬಂದಾಗ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು--ನೀನು ಯೋವಾಬನೋ ಅಂದಳು. ಅವನು--ನಾನೇ ಅಂದನು. ಅವಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕಳ ಮಾತು ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳು ಅಂದಳು. ಅವನು--ನಾನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
