- 14ಸೌಲನ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋನಾತಾನನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ದೇಶದ ಚೇಲಾದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಕೀಷನ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವರು ಅರಸನು ಆಜ್ಞಾ ಪಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೀರಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
- 15ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು; ಆದರೆ ದಾವೀದನು ದಣಿದು ಹೋದನು.
