ನೇರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬ್ನೇರನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದ್ದು ಅರಸನಿಂದ ಆದ ದ್ದಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೂ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.

- 36ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅರಸನು ಏನೇನು ಮಾಡಿದನೋ ಅದು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.
- 37ನೇರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬ್ನೇರನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದ್ದು ಅರಸನಿಂದ ಆದ ದ್ದಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೂ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.
- 38ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಪ್ರಧಾನನೂ ದೊಡ್ಡವನೂ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಗೊತ್ತಿ ಲ್ಲವೋ?ನಾನು ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೂ ಇಂದಿಗೆ ದುರ್ಬಲನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಚೆರೂಯಳ ಕುಮಾರ ರಾದ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ನನಗೆ ಕಠಿಣರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೆಟ್ಟತನ ಮಾಡುವವನಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಕೊಡುವನು ಅಂದನು.
