4ಅವನು ದೇವರೆಂದು ಕರೆಯ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾತನನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಹೊಂದುವಾತನನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಘನತೆಗೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ದೇವರ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ತಾನೇ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

6ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಏನು ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೊ ಅದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದೇ ಇದೆ.
7ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವದ ಮರ್ಮವು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಅವನು ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವವರೆಗೆ ಈಗ ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಮಾಡುವಾತನು ಮಾತ್ರಅಡ್ಡಿ ಮಾಡುವನು;
8ಆಗ ಆ ದುಷ್ಟನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗುವನು; ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಉಸುರಿನಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾಶದಿಂದ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವನು.
