ಸಿಪಾಯಿಗಳು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿ ಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ರೋಮನ್ನರು ಎಂಬ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

- 39ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವರು ವಿನಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಊರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.ಆಗ ಅವರು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಲುದ್ಯಳ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಧೈರ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದರು.
- 40ಆಗ ಅವರು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಲುದ್ಯಳ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಧೈರ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದರು.
