ಇದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಈ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಾಯ ಬರುವ ಹಾಗಿರುವದಲ್ಲದೆ ಡಯಾನಿ ಮಹಾದೇವಿಯ ಗುಡಿಯು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ಬಾರದೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ಯಸೀಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ಲೊಕವು ಪೂಜಿಸುವ ಈಕೆಯ ವೈಭವವು ನಾಶವಾಗ ತಕ್ಕದೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

King James Version (KJV): So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.
World English Bible (WEB): Not only is there danger that this our trade come into disrepute, but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis will be counted as nothing and her majesty destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worships.”

27ಇದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಈ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಾಯ ಬರುವ ಹಾಗಿರುವದಲ್ಲದೆ ಡಯಾನಿ ಮಹಾದೇವಿಯ ಗುಡಿಯು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ಬಾರದೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ಯಸೀಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ಲೊಕವು ಪೂಜಿಸುವ ಈಕೆಯ ವೈಭವವು ನಾಶವಾಗ ತಕ್ಕದೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
28ಅವರು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ರೌದ್ರವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ-- ಎಫೆಸದವರ ಡಯಾನಿಯು ದೊಡ್ಡವಳು ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುತ್ತಾ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
29ಆಗ ಊರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗಲಿಬಿಲಿಯಾಯಿತು; ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೌಲನಿಗೆ ಜೊತೆಯವರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮಕೆದೋನ್ಯದ ಗಾಯನನ್ನು ಅರಿಸ್ತಾರ್ಕನನ್ನು ಜನರು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನಾಟಕ ಶಾಲೆಯೊಳಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿದರು.
