ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದಿವಸಗಳ ಮುಂಚೆ ದಂಗೆಯ ನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಕೊಲೆಗಡುಕರಾದ ನಾಲ್ಕುಸಾವಿರ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ರನ್ನು ಅಡವಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದ ಆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯನು ನೀನೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

- 40ಅವನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಾಗ ಪೌಲನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೈಸನ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಿಶ್ಶಬ್ದತೆ ಉಂಟಾದಾಗ ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ--
