1. 38ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದಿವಸಗಳ ಮುಂಚೆ ದಂಗೆಯ ನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಕೊಲೆಗಡುಕರಾದ ನಾಲ್ಕುಸಾವಿರ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ರನ್ನು ಅಡವಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದ ಆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯನು ನೀನೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
2. 39ಆದರೆ ಪೌಲನು--ನಾನು ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತವಾದ ಕಿಲಿಕ್ಯದ ತಾರ್ಸ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯನು; ಈ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಂತೆ ನನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.ಅವನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಾಗ ಪೌಲನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೈಸನ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಿಶ್ಶಬ್ದತೆ ಉಂಟಾದಾಗ ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ--
3. 40ಅವನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಾಗ ಪೌಲನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೈಸನ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಿಶ್ಶಬ್ದತೆ ಉಂಟಾದಾಗ ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ--
