ಆಗ ಮುಖ್ಯ ನಾಯಕನು ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ರೋಮ್‌ನವನೋ? ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ಹೌದು ಅಂದನು.
Aaga mukhya naayakanu bandu avanige--neenu romnavano? Nanage helu endu keliddakke avanu--haudu andanu.

- 25ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಾರುಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಪೌಲನು ಹತ್ತಿರ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಗೆ--ರೋಮ್‌ ನವನಾದ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಕೊರಡೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡಿಸುವದು ನಿಮಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
- 26ಆಗ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೋಗಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ನಾಯಕನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಮಾಡುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರು; ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ರೋಮ್‌ನವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 27ಆಗ ಮುಖ್ಯ ನಾಯಕನು ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ರೋಮ್‌ನವನೋ? ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ಹೌದು ಅಂದನು.
- 28ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ನಾಯಕನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ನಾನು ಬಹಳ ಹಣ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಪೌರತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆನು ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೌಲನು--ನಾನಾದರೋ ಹುಟ್ಟು ಪೌರತ್ವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 29ಆಗ ಅವನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದವರು ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದರು; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆ ಮುಖ್ಯನಾಯಕನು ಸಹ ತಾನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದವನು ರೋಮ್‌ನವನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟನು.ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸಿದ ನಿಜವಾದ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ನಾಯಕನು ಮರುದಿನ ಅವನ ಬೇಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರೂ ಆಲೋಚನಾ ಸಭೆಯವ ರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸೇರಿಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪೌಲನನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ
