2. 4ನಾನು ಈ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದ ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಗಸರನ್ನೂ ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಸೆರೆಮನೆ ಯೊಳಗೆ ಹಾಕಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿದೆನು.
3. 5ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನೂ ಹಿರೀಸಭೆ ಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರಿಂದಲೇ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ದಮಸ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದೆನು.
4. 6ತರುವಾಯ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಸುಮಾರು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದಾಗ ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬೆಳಕು ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಹೊಳೆಯಿತು.
5. 7ಆಗ ನಾನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದು--ಸೌಲನೇ, ಸೌಲನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ಹಿಂಸಿಸುತ್ತೀ? ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು.
