ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಯಾವದಕ್ಕೂ ತಡಮಾಡದೆ ಮರುದಿನ ನಾನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.

King James Version (KJV): Therefore, when they were come hither, without any delay on the morrow I sat on the judgment seat, and commanded the man to be brought forth.

17ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಯಾವದಕ್ಕೂ ತಡಮಾಡದೆ ಮರುದಿನ ನಾನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.
18ತಪ್ಪುಹೊರಿಸುವವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತು ನಾನು ಭಾವಿಸಿದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ತಪ್ಪನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
19ಆದರೆ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಯೇಸು ಬದುಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಪೌಲನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರುವ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೂಢಭಕ್ತಿಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೆಲವು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದವು.
