1. 1ಫೆಸ್ತನು ಆ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಮೂರು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಸರೈಯದಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.
2. 2ಆಗ ಮಹಾ ಯಾಜಕನೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರೂ ಪೌಲನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಫಿರಿಯಾದಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
3. 3ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂಚು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾ ಅವನನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಿಸ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
4. 4ಆದರೆ ಫೆಸ್ತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಪೌಲನು ಕೈಸರೈ ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಕಾವಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಡಲ್ಪಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದೆಂದೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತಾನೇ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವೆನೆಂದೂ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
