ಫೆಸ್ತನು ಆ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಮೂರು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಸರೈಯದಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.

2ಆಗ ಮಹಾ ಯಾಜಕನೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರೂ ಪೌಲನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಫಿರಿಯಾದಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
3ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂಚು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾ ಅವನನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಿಸ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
